Kawakawa, sencha and ginger tea is a popular medicinal tea with a beautiful natural flavour. Plants used in ancient cultures have been added to this unique blend to create a delicious and beneficial wild harvest tea.

Sencha from Japan is also added for antioxidants and Ginger root is added for its numerous medicinal benefits. The benefits and use of ginger go back about 5000 years when Indians and the ancient Chinese considered it a tonic root for all ailments.
Our Kawaka, sencha and ginger tea is delicious when brewed for both hot and cold cups of tea. There are no added ingredients or artificial additives in any of our teas, allowing you to embrace the natural and wonderful flavours of the tea. The rawness of this natural tea is incredibly refreshing and spiritual on every sip.

Brewing & Ingredients
Kawakawa can be quite intense for a person's digestive system if you have not tried it before. We recommend that you try half a cup first or half a teaspoon to discover what effect it may have on you.
Add 1 teaspoon of tea leaves to 250mls water, brew for 2-4 minutes at 90 degrees Celsius.
Strain and serve.
Each batch of Kawakawa has been hand-picked in from our various locations, and so you may notice slight variances between your brews.
