Wild Kawakawa Tea
For Māori, Kawakawa was one of the most valuable natural medicines for overall health and it is still widely used today. Kawakawa is a bush tonic for cleansing the kidneys and blood, ensuring your body can continue to operate optimally. Harvested in the wild, taking only what is needed and never picking from the same site within two years. Leaves with holes eaten by insects are suitable for picking, they have the most concentrated medicinal properties. Kawakawa tea has an earthy, peppery taste, a refreshing and uplifting tonic improving energy and overall health.
Note: Kawakawa can be too heating for a person's digestive system if you have not tried before, try half a teaspoon first. Each batch of Kawakawa has been hand-picked from various locations, you may notice slight variances.
