About Tī Ani & Our Tea
Who is behind Tī Ani?
Tī Ani is a Māori-owned business, founded byAnnette Eggersout of a deep love for tea, natural wellness, and the wisdom of Rongoā Māori (traditional Māori healing). We are passionate about crafting authentic, high-quality teas that honour the land, culture, and traditions that inspire them.
Do you harvest any of your own ingredients?
Yes! Many of our native New Zealand botanicals, such as Kawakawa, Mānuka, and Horopito, are wild-harvested by us with care and respect for the whenua (land). We follow traditional harvesting practices, ensuring sustainability and honouring the natural cycles of the plants.
Where do the rest of your ingredients come from?
While we prioritise native New Zealand plants, some ingredients -such as Japanese Sencha, South American Yerba Mate, and other herbal botanicals - simply don’t grow here. To ensure the highest quality, we source these from certified organic and ethical suppliers in the regions where they are traditionally grown. While organic supply can sometimes be challenging, we always do our best to select ingredients that meet our high standards for purity, sustainability, and ethical sourcing.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order value and destination. We offer flat-rate tracked shipping for each region, with a Loyalty Rate for larger orders. Here are some examples:
New Zealand: from $8 NZD
Australia: from $13 AUD
USA: from $23 USD
Europe: from €24
Other regions: rates vary

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery times are:
New Zealand: 1–3 working days
Australia: 5–10 working days
USA/Canada: 7–15 working days
Europe: 7–20 working days
Asia & Pacific: 7–20 working days
Africa & South/Central America: 10–25 working days
Please note that rural or remote areas may take a little longer.
Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?
Possibly, depending on your country's regulations. Tī Ani does not collect duties or taxes at checkout. If your country charges import fees, your local customs office may contact you to pay them before delivery. We recommend checking your local customs policies if you're unsure.
