Kawakawa, sencha and ginger tea is a popular medicinal tea with a beautiful natural flavour. Plants used in ancient cultures have been added to this unique blend to create a delicious and beneficial wild harvest tea.

My ancestors knew that Kawakawa was one of the most valuable natural medicines for overall health, and it is still widely used today, particularly in sencha green tea.

It is the bush tonic for cleansing the kidneys and blood ensuring your body can continue to operate at an optimal level. It is also a powerful part of the spiritual realm, celebrated for its incredible power throughout life.

Sencha from Japan is also added for antioxidants and Ginger root is added for its numerous medicinal benefits. The benefits and use of ginger go back about 5000 years when Indians and the ancient Chinese considered it a tonic root for all ailments.

Ginger Tea:

The ginger root is packed full of healthy nutrients and bioactive compounds that help aid digestion and it can be a beautiful tea to have after finishing a meal. Ginger tea is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, helping to relieve muscle pain and soreness in those taking part in regular exercise.

Some studies have also shown that ginger may in fact be useful for lowering cholesterol levels. Several cholesterol markers were dramatically improved by those who had been taking a ginger powder, with reductions in total cholesterol and blood triglycerides.

Sencha Green Tea:

Green tea itself has been widely researched over the past couple of decades, illuminating the beneficial properties of the tea. Sencha green tea is well known for its antioxidants, including tannins and flavonoids. Sencha green tea is a refreshing and light tea, which gives off a more earthy flavour when brewed.

The Sencha green tea in this blend can help to fight free radicals, boost your immune system, and improve your oral health. This type of tea also has a level of caffeine in it, giving you that added boost in energy. Sencha green tea also contains an ingredient known as theanine, which is an amino acid that can have a calming effect on your body.
